ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Fall River United travel program provides the opportunity for boys and girls to participate in a competitive youth soccer environment that promotes excellence and sportsmanship. Fall River United fields a number of travel teams Grades 2 through 12. The commitment level expected on a travel team is greater than our recreational program; coaches may expect players to train multiple times per week and play games on either Saturday or Sunday throughout the season.
Our seasons are made up of Spring (April-June) and Fall (September-November). Generally there are 4 home and 4 away games. These teams play in the South Coast Soccer League (SCSL) which is made up of towns from Southeastern Massachusetts including Cape Cod and Islands. The league within each age group has two divisions, based on level of play. Fall River United and the South Coast Soccer League operate under the guidance of The Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (Mass Youth Soccer) a non-profit corporation dedicated to the task of promoting and enhancing the culture of soccer in Massachusetts.
